Shampoo: In the shower, wet hair and hands. Scoop a large dime-sized amount of the concentrate onto palm for medium length hair. Rub with water to activate and lather up in very wet hair, building a creamy lather. Rinse well.
PRO TIP: Try a double cleanse if you want to boost the lather - start with a smaller ‘micro-dose’ first (about 1/2 inch) and then follow up with your normal dose - this will help remove extra sebum or product build up.
Deep Conditioner: Scoop a large dime-sized amount of the concentrate onto palm for medium length hair. Rub over wet hands and then spread evenly through very wet hair, working from ends upwards. Rinse well. For a deep conditioning treatment, leave on for 15 minutes before rinsing.
Body Wash: Scoop a large dime-sized amount of the concentrate onto palm. Rub over wet hands to activate or on our Compostable Konjac Sponge and scrub-a-dub, working into skin for 30 seconds for maximum conditioning. Rinse well.
Compostable Konjac Sponge: Just add water and watch this compostable sponge transform into a cushy pillow that creates mounds of bubbles when paired with The Body Wash Concentrates. Rinse with hot water after use. Gently squeeze out excess water. Hang to air dry. Replace and home compost every 2-3 months.

FAQ
For the shampoo, make sure your hair is very wet and to spend the full 30 seconds in the shower standing out of direct water to build up the lather in your hair. You'll feel the lather swell as your hair acts like a loofah! If you're still left wanting more, one tip is to try micro-dosing (like double-cleansing, for your hair). Use a small amount of shampoo first to remove excess oil and go back a second time with a little less than your regular dose of shampoo.
Yes. We don't use any sulfates or other harsh surfactants that can strip color away. Our products are completely safe whether your hair is bleached, dyed, permed or straightened.
Our full-size products come in both tube and tin form, and we do that to ensure everyone can choose what works best for them. If you are a camper, for example, you may prefer a tin that lays flat. You may like that the tube gets smaller with every use! It just depends on what experience you prefer. The amount of product you receive in either format will be the same - everything is weighed out!
Our concentrates are packed with only the pure, active ingredients that your hair and skin needs. A small amount goes a long way. However, it is important to get the right dose for your hair type. Think a 1/2 inch strip for short hair, a 1 (dime-sized amount for tins) inch strip for medium hair and a 1 1/2 inch strip for very long, thick hair. For body, we suggest a 1/2 inch to 1 inch strip. When paired with our Konjac Sponge, a little will go a long way. Adjust dose as needed for optimal lather. The WOW moment really comes once hair and skin is dry, so we suggest testing a few times to get your dose just right!
I did the 30 day challenge and without any prompting, both my hairstylist and my daughter have commented how much softer my hair feels, and it has felt healthy and thick despite having fine hair. I’ve been on the hunt for a low-tox sustainable options for myself and household so I did the 30 wash Challenge and love the results!
After just one wash, I could tell that the shampoo got my hair thoroughly clean but balanced, and the conditioner added back a moisturized silky feeling. It really does feel more like “skincare for your hair” than any other shampoo and conditioner I’ve tried, while having healthy ingredients and essential oils!
I also wasn’t expecting to love the body wash and sponge, but I will also be getting those regularly from now on. The body wash gently but thoroughly cleans and moisturizes at the same time. The sponge also has felt very hygienic and clean even after 2 months of use! I also love that as it breaks down I can chuck it in the compost. I’m going to try the exfoliating sponge next.
My only minor downside is the hair towel - soft and comfy and works great, but I wish it was also made with a sustainable material like all their other products and packaging that has been so thoroughly thought out and not 100% polyester.
Overall I’ve loved using these products and am definitely going to be a return customer!
